"We have just returned from this site and will definitely be returning. Toilets immaculate [...] loads of room to shower with your little ones which was great. Staff very friendly. "First visit to black bull but it wont be our last. Lovely campsite 25m walk from Pickering although the black pull pub is just at entrance to site so not far to go for a pint or a lovely bar meal. We had a tent pitch with ehu which was very spacious and very flat separated by small bushes so felt very private". UKCampsite, June 2009

"The Toilets & Showers were always clean with plenty of hot water, the washing area also was kept neat and tidy. Check-in was smooth, the pitches are large and could easily accommodate our tents with plenty of space. Childrens Play, Games Room and Ball field were all well used by our children". "Pickering is a lovely Yorkshire town with good shopping / pubs. The Steam Railway is great & takes you into Heartbeat country. The Dalby forest is not far & we went into Scarborough on the Sunday.
