"Very family friendly, with helpful staff, a small shop for essentials, ice-creams, etc. And a nice play area for small children which our children enjoyed. "First visit to black bull but it wont be our last. Lovely campsite 25m walk from Pickering although the black pull pub is just at entrance to site so not far to go for a pint or a lovely bar meal. "The Toilets & Showers were always clean with plenty of hot water, the washing area also was kept neat and tidy. Check-in was smooth, the pitches are large and could easily accommodate our tents with plenty of space. Childrens Play, Games Room and Ball field were all well used by our children". "Pickering is a lovely Yorkshire town with good shopping / pubs. The Steam Railway is great & takes you into Heartbeat country. The Dalby forest is not far & we went into Scarborough on the Sunday.
